Fiddlers’ Follies on May 25, 2018

Chester County-based nonprofit, The Orpheus Foundation, announces Fiddlers’ Follies, a new old-time and roots music concert series at the Union Fire Company Hall, 315 Market St., Oxford PA.

Old-time music is on the agenda at the Oxford Fire Hall. It is the premiere concert in the Fiddlers’ Follies concert series. The concert features Beverly Smith along and the Orpheus Supertones, and it all starts at 7 PM on May 25, 2018.

Beverly Smith, internationally-renowned Old-Time Songstress and Fiddler from Marshall NC will regale you with songs and stories from good old NC, GA, VA, and beyond! Chester County PA Supergroup Orpheus Supertones will get your toes tapping with Old-Time Tunes and Songs — twin fiddles a-blazing, banjo, guitar & string bass a-thumping, and their vocal harmonies will give your heart a thrill! Orpheus Supertones are Walt Koken, Clare Milliner, Pete Peterson, Kellie Allen & Hilary Dirlam.

Old-time family fun, local live music, BYOB. Watch out, a square dance could even break out! Admission: $20 at the door.

Profits from the events will go to The Orpheus Foundation, which is dedicated to providing string instruments, instruction books, and instruction to children who need them. Stay tuned for future performer lineups and other updates on the series!
